Come along to our photo sessions to dust off your camera and get snap-happy with a professional photography instructor.

Brush up on your camera skills and learn new photography techniques whilst on a photo walk class with other local keen photographers!

We run two hour photography sessions based on a photography theme/technique/style and they take place in various locations in Augusta.

  • New to photography? We also run a popular 3 hour Beginners Guide to Photography Class once a month. And once in a while we will run special niche 3 hour classes, for example, Astrophotography - so do subscribe to our newsletter to know when the next on is!

  • Who can attend? Open to all skill levels, from beginners to keen amateurs. The photography instructor is there to help you with camera settings and provide any advice you need.

  • What to bring? We recommend bringing a camera that has full manual mode or semi-manual modes (Aperture or Shutter Priority). Compact cameras and smartphones also welcome!

    The meeting point and full details for the day are sent in the booking confirmation email to the email address you provide at time of booking.

    It was great. It was a good scenic route with lots of opportunity to get some great pictures. The instructor was very friendly and I enjoyed hearing his personal insights on how he takes pictures and his experiences with various camera lenses. I thoroughly enjoyed the class and the experience.

    A beautiful day to take photos of nature at Phinzy Swamp. Ryan answered all my questions about function buttons, lens filters, camera bags and Lightroom Classic. I got some beautiful pictures of wildlife to include Osprey, alligators and blue herrings. Ryan guided us to all the hot spots for photography. Enjoyed the class and time in nature. Highly recommend this outing.

    I call these Red Shoulder Hawks my backyard love birds. I have photographed these amazing birds for three years now. They have built their nest in a tall pine tree in my backyard each year and I have had the pleasure of also photographing their young chicks as they grow and leave the nest.     Originally showed up at Gouldsboro State Park at sunrise to get a backlit, misty shot of the island but when I got there, NO mist, and enough boats on the lake to walk across!Quickly decided to take a backroad to another favorite spot nearby, and slammed on the brakes as I was driving over a small bridge when I looked to the right and saw THIS scene. Finding it was sheer luck, but as always, just getting out there at first light is half the battle. Made this one standing right on the bridge.
